Embrace to headline the main stage as DonnyFest announces its first three major names for 2027
Doncaster, South Yorkshire, October 2026: DonnyFest has announced the first three names for its 2027 festival, with Embrace, The Fratellis and The Enemy confirmed to perform at Club Doncaster Sports Village on Saturday 5 June 2027.

Headlining the main stage are Embrace, the West Yorkshire indie rock band behind huge songs including Gravity, Ashes, Come Back to What You Know, All You Good Good People and The Good Will Out. Formed in Bailiff Bridge in 1990, the band have become one of the defining names of the British alternative and indie scene.

Joining them are The Fratellis, the Scottish rock band behind some of the biggest indie anthems of the 2000s, including Chelsea Dagger, Whistle for the Choir and Henrietta.

Also confirmed are The Enemy, the Coventry band whose debut album We’ll Live and Die in These Towns reached number one in the UK album charts and delivered a string of major singles including Away From Here and Had Enough.
The three acts form the first major announcement for DonnyFest 2027, with further artists, stages and festival details set to be announced in early January 2027.
DonnyFest Festival Director Andy O’Grady said:
“We wanted the first DonnyFest 2027 announcement to make a statement.
“Embrace, The Fratellis and The Enemy are three brilliant live bands with an incredible catalogue of songs, and bringing all three to Doncaster on the same day gives us a fantastic starting point for 2027.
“We have been working on this lineup for some time and there is a lot more still to come. We are already preparing the next announcements and we are really looking forward to showing people what we have planned for next year.
“DonnyFest has always been about creating a proper festival day in Doncaster, bringing big names to the city while also giving emerging artists and local talent a platform. That will continue in 2027.”
DonnyFest 2027 will bring together established national artists, emerging musicians and local talent across multiple stages, with further announcements planned ahead of the festival.
