ACCESSIBILITY

We want DonnyFest to be welcoming, safe, and enjoyable for everyone. This page explains what accessibility support will be in place for 2026 and how we are working to improve the experience following feedback from previous years.

If you have any questions not covered here, please contact us before the event and we will be happy to help.

Is DonnyFest'26 an accessible event?

Yes. DonnyFest 2026 will include dedicated accessibility arrangements covering viewing areas, toilets, staff support, and clear information before the event.

We have reviewed feedback from 2025 and made changes to improve visibility, comfort, and consistency across the site.

Will there be an accessible viewing area?

Yes. There will be a dedicated accessible viewing area with a clear line of sight to the main stage.

For 2026, we have changed the position of the main stage to a corner layout, rather than straight on. This has been done specifically to improve sight lines and reduce crowd pressure in front of the stage.

Who is the accessible viewing area for?

The accessible viewing area is designed primarily for:

  • Wheelchair users

  • People with mobility conditions

  • Attendees who cannot stand for long periods

Use of this area is optional. You are free to choose where you feel most comfortable during the event.

Wheelchair users will not be required to remain at the back of the pitch.

How is access to the accessible viewing area managed?

Access will be managed by trained staff, not general stewards.

Staff working in this area will receive specific accessibility briefings to ensure the area is used correctly and respectfully.

What if I do not want to use the accessible viewing area?

That is completely fine. The accessible viewing area is there as an option, not a requirement.

You are welcome to enjoy the event from other areas of the site if that better suits your needs.

Will there be accessible toilets?

Yes. Accessible toilets will be available across the site.

Will RADAR keys be required for accessible toilets?

Some accessible toilets on site will be RADAR key operated, in line with standard practice at the stadium.

If you have your own RADAR key, we strongly recommend bringing it with you.

Welfare staff will be available if assistance is needed, but RADAR-locked toilets will not be opened for general use.

If you experience any difficulty accessing an accessible toilet, please speak to a welfare team member as soon as possible.

Will there be welfare support on site?

Yes. Welfare staff will be present and available throughout the event.

They can assist with access issues, direct you to facilities, or help if something is not working as expected.

Who can I contact if I have accessibility questions?

If you have specific access needs or questions ahead of the event, please contact us via the website. We encourage you to get in touch early so we can support you properly.

Is there a carer ticket available?

For DonnyFest 2026, carer tickets are available at a reduced, guaranteed price, rather than being allocated through a discretionary or application-based process.

This approach was introduced following consultation with disabled live-music and festival attendees, including wheelchair users and people who require essential carers. The feedback received highlighted the importance of guaranteed availability and consistency.

Why is there not a free carer ticket for 2026?

We recognise that many events offer complimentary essential carer tickets, and we understand why this is an important comparison.

Our current approach is intended to provide clear, guaranteed access rather than limited or discretionary allocation. However, we also accept that a reduced-price ticket will not feel like a sufficient adjustment for everyone.

The carer ticket policy will be formally reviewed for DonnyFest 2027.
